Advocacy Program
The CSS Advocacy Program helps people access essential resources
and information. We tailor these services to individual needs ranging from the simplest to the most complex. For example:
- Applying for Energy Assistance
and Food Stamps
- Temporary Cash Assistance Fund
- Help with car repairs
- Job search
- Coaching
- Help
for families facing homelessness
Food Pantries
The CSS Food Pantries offer weekly distribution of fresh and
canned food, as well as emergency supplies, at 2 locations:
- St. Paul's Episcopal Church -> Wednesday's and Friday's 9:30AM
- 11:00 AM, 13500 Baden-Westwood Road, Brandywine, MD 20613
- Faith United Methodist Church -> Fridays 11:00AM - 12:30AM, 15769 Livingston Road, Accokeek, MD 20607

Shared Senior Living Home
The CSS Shared Senior Living Home provides comfortable, low-cost
housing in Brandywine, MD for independent living. For each of our residents, we assess rent based on an income-based sliding
scale.

a grant from The Neighbors in Need Fund of the Community Foundation for the National Capital Region.
